Cleaning and Sealing Pavers
The cleaning process includes power washing and sometimes the use of chemicals depending on the types of stains present. One of the most important areas of focus is to make sure the sand joints are cleaned properly.
One of the major advantages we have over competitors is experience with many different types of sealer. Having this knowledge enables us to properly determine what sealer is best for the needs of the customer. One example would be a pool deck that has 1" pavers over concrete. There is a increased risk of potential problems on a project of this type and the key to success is using a sealer that will not fail. We also take into consideration the type of paver used, as we may recommend a sealer specific to it. It may be concrete, travertine, slate or Tabbystone..we will give guidance based on what we know will work best.
Our philosophy is to make sure that we perform in the best interest of our customers, not our best interest. This has been ingrained into our crews and as a reward, they get paid bonuses based on quality work efforts.
We also repair pavers as part of the restoration process. Repairs include re-leveling bricks, replacing bricks and replacing concrete restraint according to the Interlocking Concrete Paving Institution's certification.
